Contribute to Movin' Out, Inc
We fund our programs and operations with a mix of private and public sources, including contributions from people like you. Today, rising housing costs hit Movin' Out home buyers hard. Their income and resources cannot keep pace with the increased costs of buying and maintaining a home. To achieve the safety and stability that home ownership offers, Movin' Out households can use your help. Movin' Out is a tax-exempt 501 (C) (3) corporation. Contributions are fully tax deductible.
What your contribution will fund:
- $25 would purchase booklets for four households that would help them get started on evaluating the merit of purchasing a home.
- $50 covers the cost of an in-depth information and referral session that explains what Movin' Out has to offer and lead prospective home buyers to local resources.
- $100 covers the cost of a comprehensive intake session, plus follow-up, with prospective home-buyersthe first step to home ownership.
- $250 covers the cost of individually-tailored home-buyer education for one prospective home buyer.
- $375 covers the cost of one initial series of individualized post purchase housing counseling sessions that will help a new home owner to maintain safe, affordable, accessible housing.
- $2000 covers the cost of purchasing a new and energy efficient furnace.
- $4000 covers the cost of making an older home physically accessible for a household member who relies on a wheel chair to get around.
- $5000 could be awarded as a deferred Movin' Out down payment assistance loan to enable a home buyer to significantly lower monthly mortgage to an affordable level.
